Job summary

Hy-Vee's Floral Department is seeking a creative Floral Designer to craft beautiful arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday orders. You will lead floral clerks, ensure fresh stock, and deliver outstanding customer service.

You'll process orders from FTD, Teleflora, and in-store requests, train staff, and help with in-store events. High school diploma and at least 3 years in related work preferred. This is an hourly position in Minnesota's Shakopee store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Strong floral design skills and knowledge of floral products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and creating arrangements to exact specifications.
• Lead floral clerks, train on simple designs, and oversee daily tasks.
• Process FTD, Teleflora, and internet orders with confidentiality.
• Maintain stock and freshness, replace damaged product, and manage inventory.
• Support in-store events and assist in department leadership during absences.
