Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking a Floral Clerk to join the Floral Department. You will greet customers, take and fulfill floral orders, and help keep displays fresh and attractive. The role involves basic floral design, stocking, and friendly, attentive service in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include processing orders, assisting customers by phone or in person, and adhering to safety and dress standards while supporting the team with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Less than high school diploma or equivalent accepted.
• Six months of similar or related work experience preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist with floral orders in person or by phone.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish floral products including arrangements and bouquets.
• Process orders and maintain confidentiality of sender, recipient, and cost.
• Monitor product freshness and daily department needs.
• Keep the department clean, organized, and well stocked.
• Handle POS transactions and assist with general duties as needed.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and department guidelines.
