Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Floral Designer in the Floral department to craft beautiful arrangements to customer specifications, lead floral clerks, and ensure the department is stocked, fresh, and running smoothly in a fast-paced store environment.

You will process FTD and Teleflora orders, advise customers on floral care, and step into leadership when needed. Strong design skills and customer focus are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of similar or related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and creating arrangements to exact specifications.
• Process and wrap flowers, fill orders on time, including weddings and anniversaries.
• Manage FTD, Teleflora, and internet orders while keeping order details confidential.
• Inventory and maintain freshness; lead floral clerks and train on simple designs.
• Order flowers daily with direction from Floral Manager.
