Job summary

Kroger is seeking a flexible Store Associate in Glendale, WI to assist customers in the floral department and support daily merchandising and customer service tasks. You will help design flower arrangements, package orders, and maintain clean, organized displays to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, present information in a professional manner and work with all levels of the organization.
• Personal initiative and follow through to completion.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in grocery retail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist and greet customers promptly and provide them with great service.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Help design and create floral arrangements and/or other items to fill customer orders.
• Package orders effectively, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain customer records and files properly.
• Assist customers in location and selecting items.
• Handle telephone calls and orders promptly and courteously.
• Assist in decorating and merchandising the department.
• Keep floors, clean, safe, and free from clutter.
