Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Floral Clerk to assist customers in the Floral department, take orders in person or by phone, and help assemble arrangements with care. You will stock displays, prepare bouquets, corsages, and other floral items, and maintain a welcoming, neat department for customers throughout the shift.

The role emphasizes friendly service, attention to detail, and teamwork with store colleagues to ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.

Qualifications

• Six months of similar or related work experience preferred; we'll provide all the training you need to succeed.
• Less than high school diploma or equivalent experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers with a smile and assisting them with orders.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish floral products including small arrangements, corsages, bouquets and greenery.
• Send and retrieve orders with confidentiality on all order details and costs.
• Review product freshness and anticipate daily department needs.
• Maintain department cleanliness and keep displays and coolers in good condition.
