Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Floral Clerk to assist customers with floral orders, create starter-level arrangements, and keep the floral department stocked and attractive. You’ll deliver friendly, attentive service and contribute to a welcoming shopping experience.

No prior experience is required, and training will be provided. You’ll help with order processing, merchandise replenishment, and maintaining department cleanliness to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• No degree required; on-the-job training provided.
• Six months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with floral orders in person or over the phone.
• Prepare and replenish floral products including arrangements and accessories.
• Process orders, maintain order confidentiality and accuracy.
• Track product freshness and daily department needs.
• Keep the department clean and organized, including coolers and display areas.
• Operate the register and handle payments as needed.
• Support with deliveries and department upkeep as required.
