Qualifications

• Floral Design School equals six months full-time retail design experience.
• Florist Transworld Delivery certification requires 3 years full-time or 6 years part-time retail design experience.
• Demonstrated aptitude for filling customer needs and designing floral arrangements.
• Ability to make intelligent decisions quickly.
• Calm, courteous and tactful handling of stressful situations.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Design and create floral arrangements to fill customer orders.
• Greet customers, offer assistance, take and fill orders.
• Package orders cheerfully, effectively, safely and efficiently.
• Keep the department area clean and free from clutter.
• Keep merchandise and supplies in their proper areas.
• Provide good customer and associate relations.
• Maintain customer records and files properly.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting items.
• Handle Florist Transworld Delivery orders promptly and courteously.
• Assist in decorating and merchandising the department.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain a harassment- and discrimination-free work environment.
