Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Floral Clerk to assist customers with floral orders, assemble and stock arrangements, and keep the Floral Dept. attractive and ready for service. You’ll engage with customers, handle order paperwork, and ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy in processing orders, and collaboration with the team to maintain department standards and presentation.

Qualifications

• No extensive experience required; training provided.
• Six months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic math and cash handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help with floral orders in person or over the phone.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish floral products and arrangements.
• Process orders and paperwork, including FTD/Teleflora orders.
• Deliver orders and assist with daily delivery lists.
• Operate the department register and handle payments.
• Maintain department appearance and cleanliness; follow guidelines.
