Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a team member for our floral department to receive, store, stock items and assist customers with arrangements and plants. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and customer service within a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include preparing materials at shift start, stocking inventory, making arrangements, wrapping flowers, and maintaining a clean cooler. Prior experience and keyboard skills are helpful for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate to complete job duties and follow safety policies.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements and be able to use the needed equipment.
• Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training.
• Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and prepare required equipment and PPE at shift start.
• Use a U-boat to obtain inventory from receiving and place into floral cooler.
• Make flower arrangements, assist customers, wrap plants, and inflate balloons as needed.
• Keep the department and cooler clean and organized.
• Track and record loss as part of inventory control.
