Job summary

ShopRite of South Plainfield is seeking a Floral Manager to lead the Floral Department, supervise associates, and drive sales, customer experience, and safety. You will guide daily operations, ensure food safety compliance, and maintain welcoming, well-merchandised displays for a high-volume store.

The role requires leadership, training ability, and a focus on safety and efficiency to meet department goals and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to perform basic math and use simple computer functions.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Ability to lead and engage associates to reach department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Floral Department to meet goals.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with food handling procedures.
• Train and develop department associates and maintain staffing levels.
• Maintain presentable merchandising and accurate pricing in-store displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle daily department operations.
