Hy-Vee seeks a Floral Department Manager to lead a dynamic team in our floral section. You will set customer service standards, manage pricing and promotions, and ensure product quality and freshness across the department.

You’ll guide staff development, handle orders, and drive sales through strong leadership and retail expertise. As a Floral Department Manager, you will analyze sales trends, coordinate with store leadership, and maintain merchandising, inventory, and proper storage practices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Over three years of related work experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Set the standard for customer service and department profitability.
• Lead, hire, train, supervise, and develop Floral staff.
• Manage pricing, promotions, and store orders for department.
• Oversee inventory, displays, and merchandising quality.
• Analyze weekly sales and trends to drive decisions.
• Ensure proper temperatures, storage, and freshness of flowers.
• Maintain department bookkeeping and vendor relations.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
