Job summary

Lumber Liquidators in Beaumont, TX is seeking a part-time Flooring Sales Associate to meet with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the best flooring solutions. You will own the customer experience from first contact to sale and follow-up, building a pipeline to close opportunities.

You will utilize product knowledge to upsell, maintain a polished showroom, and process orders accurately. Flexible scheduling includes evenings and weekends; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of retail or sales experience preferred; flooring knowledge a plus.
• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is a bonus.
• Forklift certification required prior to operation.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to understand their flooring needs, style, project, budget, and timeline.
• Consult, recommend, and sell the right flooring products and solutions.
• Own the customer experience from the initial conversation through the sale and follow-up.
• Build a pipeline of opportunities and actively follow up to close business.
• Ask for the sale and confidently overcome objections.
• Develop relationships that generate repeat business, referrals, and new opportunities.
• Use product knowledge and sales tools to create solutions—not simply quote prices.
• Achieve individual sales, conversion, and other performance goals.
• Maintain an organized and compelling showroom that helps customers visualize their projects.
• Process sales and orders accurately and ensure customers receive what they purchased.
• Support inventory and day-to-day store operations when needed.
