Job summary

Superb Flooring & Design in Troy, MI is seeking a Sales & Project Coordinator who thrives on closing flooring sales from first contact to signed contracts. This full-time, on-site role blends sales, measuring, and estimating with light project coordination after sale.

You will meet clients, measure spaces, build precise quotes, and drive deals to completion, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with targets in flooring, home improvement, or construction.
• Strong estimating and measuring skills; comfortable calculating material needs, waste factors, and job costs.
• Experience with flooring estimating/quoting software (RFMS or similar) is a plus.
• Confident, consultative sales approach—guide customers to decisions without being pushy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for in-home and showroom consultations.
• Detail-oriented: estimates must be accurate to protect customer budget and margin.
• Able to manage a pipeline of multiple quotes and customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective customers on job sites and in the Troy showroom to understand needs and recommend flooring solutions.
• Measure spaces accurately and prepare detailed, competitively priced estimates and proposals.
• Present quotes, answer product and pricing questions, and close sales.
• Follow up on open estimates and actively work your pipeline to convert leads into signed contracts.
• Track your sales activity and consistently meet or exceed personal sales targets.
• Keep quoting and customer records accurate in our estimating system (RFMS experience a plus).
• Coordinate with installation team to hand off a clean scope, accurate materials list, and timeline after sale.
• Build long-term relationships with customers, builders, and vendors for repeat/referral business.
