Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking Sales Associates to deliver friendly, accurate service and help customers select products for their projects. The role includes stocking, signage, checkout processing, and assisting in multiple store areas.

The position offers full-time and part-time opportunities with base pay starting at $15 per hour and higher starting pay based on experience. Qualified candidates are 18+, with math skills and prior customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires passing a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work in cooperation with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Adhere to company core values and safety processes.
• Answer telephone according to company guidelines.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
