Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking Sales Associates to provide friendly, accurate service and assist customers in selecting products for their projects. Roles include both full-time and part-time positions, with base pay starting at $15.00 per hour and higher depending on experience.

Responsibilities include engaging customers, maintaining in-stock merchandise, processing transactions, and supporting store operations while upholding safety and company values in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, drug testing may be required for heavy equipment use.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above-and-beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using point of sale (POS) system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines.
• Follow established cash, check and credit card acceptance procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Act in accordance with the company’s core values.
• Demonstrate compliance with safety processes.
• Answer telephone calls according to guidelines.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
