Job summary

Floor Coverings International is seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage flooring projects from start to finish. This full-time role focuses on exceptional customer service, timely communication, and precise project organization across Milwaukee North.

The candidate will arrange orders, receive deliveries with a forklift, coordinate installation dates, and ensure accurate invoicing and scheduling. The ideal candidate has experience in home improvement or flooring sales/installation and

Qualifications

• Requires high school or equivalent.
• Associates degree or some college preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Home improvement or flooring sales/installation experience within 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from start to finish and ensure profitability.
• Order all product needed for each project.
• Receive deliveries using forklift and pallet jack.
• Organize, label and stage products by project.
• Coordinate installation dates with customers and installers.
• Provide daily updates to customers and ensure smooth communication.
• Assist installation crews to finish projects and maintain a clean site.
