• Requires flooring industry experience and ability to read blueprints for commercial projects.
• Experience preparing bids or estimates for flooring projects is essential.
• Ability to forecast labor and material costs and to produce accurate estimates.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills are required.
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills are important for securing jobs.

Responsabilidades

• Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations.
• Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs.
• Create and submit estimates.
• Follow up on quotes and maintain a sales pipeline.
• Build referral networks with realtors, designers, property managers.
• Prospect and maintain relationships with GCs, commercial property managers, and facility owners.
• Respond to bid invitations and prepare bid packages.
• Understand project scope, plans, and specifications for commercial RFPs.
