Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a capable Junior Project Manager to assist Senior Project Managers and the Principal, tackling diverse residential and commercial projects.

You will research material and cost questions, organize current data, support invoice review, build schedules in Microsoft Project, review bids, and monitor drawings to track progress. A bachelor’s degree and five years of direct construction/AE experience are required; proficiency in Excel, Word, and Project is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years direct, relevant construction/AE industry experience.
• Experience with new construction and/or renovation projects, preferably including site work and MEP.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and quickly pivot between tasks.
• Professional, team-oriented approach with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word (formulas, sorting, basic table functions).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project and scheduling concepts (critical path, lag, float).
• Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research material, cost, and project questions identified by Senior Project Managers.
• Organize and maintain current project cost data.
• Support invoice review, cost tracking, and monthly payment requests.
• Create and maintain project schedules in Microsoft Project.
• Review bid responses and prepare contractor bid-leveling sheets for analysis.
• Review drawings to assess completeness, track progress, and support payment reviews.
• Compare drawing revisions to identify changes in scope.
• Prepare meeting agendas and minutes; maintain checklists and schedules; follow up on items.
• Track contractor insurance compliance.
• Independently manage small, well-defined projects with attention to detail.
