Job summary

Vassar & Company Properties is seeking experienced Flooring Contractors for renovation, turnover, and property improvements across our Tampa Bay portfolio. This on-site, 1099 contractor role offers flexible, project-based scheduling with assignments based on scope and timelines.

You will install LVP/LVT, tile, laminate, hardwood, and carpet, prep subfloors, remove old materials, and ensure clean, precise finishes. Own tools are required; travel across our properties is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid contractor license (if required by State of Florida/local regulations).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proven experience in residential and/or light commercial flooring installation.
• Ability to install LVP/LVT, tile, laminate, hardwood, carpet.
• Knowledge of subfloor preparation, leveling, and moisture control.
• Must have your own tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, alignment, and finishing quality.
• Ability to manage projects, timelines, and job site cleanliness.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities
