Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Floorcare Technician to maintain a clean and sanitary environment by ensuring all floor surfaces reflect the customer’s expectations. The role includes operating and training crew in machine use, and executing floor maintenance across sites.

The successful candidate will perform cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet care, while coordinating crew activities and ensuring safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

The Floorcare Technician will provide and maintain a clean and sanitary environment by ensuring all floor surfaces are maintained in a manner that supports the customer’s expectation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operation and training of team members in the proper use of machines and chemicals
• Successfully maintain hard surface and carpeted flooring throughout worksite on an ongoing basis.
• Cleaning, buffing, burnishing, stripping and waxing of VCT and other hard surface flooring
• Cleaning carpeted surfaces with Extractors and/or Bonnet Machines
• Scheduling, testing and evaluating members of work crew.
