Baptist Health in Florida is hiring for an environmental services worker responsible for daily cleaning and floor care across facilities. The role includes stripping and refinishing floors, and safe disposal of bio-medical and hazardous waste in compliance with regulations.

Description

Perform daily project assignments along with daily cleaning and maintenance of hard floor and carpets throughout the facility that is consistent with organization standards. Strips and refinishes floors. Dispose of bio-medical and hazardous waste as regulated. Perform the above in a manner that consistently delivers exceptional service to patients, guests and others. This position is exposed to hazardous materials and a variety of infectious diseases. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.84 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Additional Qualifications

• Floor care experience preferred.
• Previous environmental services experience desired.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment with continuous exposure to cleaning agents and dust.
