Job summary

Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a floor care technician to perform daily cleaning, maintenance of floors and carpets, and floor refinishing throughout the facility. This role involves handling bio-medical and hazardous waste according to regulations and delivering excellent service to patients and staff.

Experience with cleaning agents, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong English communication are required. A sign-on bonus is available up to $2,000.

Qualifications

• High School, Cert, GED, Trn or equivalent.

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily project assignments along with daily cleaning and maintenance of hard floor and carpets throughout the facility that is consistent with organization standards.
• Strips and refinishes floors.
• Dispose of bio-medical and hazardous waste as regulated.
• Deliver exceptional service to patients, guests and others while working around hazardous materials and infectious diseases.

Description

Perform daily project assignments along with daily cleaning and maintenance of hard floor and carpets throughout the facility that is consistent with organization standards. Strips and refinishes floors. Dispose of bio-medical and hazardous waste as regulated. Perform the above in a manner that consistently delivers exceptional service to patients, guests and others. This position is exposed to hazardous materials and a variety of infectious diseases. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.49 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Additional Qualifications

• Minimum two years floor care experience required.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment with continuous exposure to cleaning agents and dust.
