Job summary

Baptist Health Bethesda Hospital is seeking an environmental services worker to perform daily cleaning and maintenance of floors and carpets across the facility, including floor stripping and refinishing. You will handle bio-medical waste per regulations and deliver high-quality service to patients and guests.

The role requires good English communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cleaning agents and dust exposure.

Description

Perform daily project assignments along with daily cleaning and maintenance of hard floor and carpets throughout the facility that is consistent with organization standards. Strips and refinishes floors. Dispose of bio-medical and hazardous waste as regulated. Perform the above in a manner that consistently delivers exceptional service to patients, guests and others. This position is exposed to hazardous materials and a variety of infectious diseases. Estimated pay range for this position is $18.00/hour.

Qualifications

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
