Job summary

You will clean and polish hard floors, maintain carpets, operate floor care equipment, and help keep resident areas safe and pristine. Compensation is $16.65–$18.65 per hour based on experience, with benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in floor stripping and finishing.
• Healthcare/senior living setting preferred.
• Must read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard floor surfaces: cleaning, polishing, refinishing as needed.
• Clean and maintain carpets using commercial equipment.
• Safely operate and maintain floor care equipment per procedures.
• Inspect floors and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Use cleaning products according to safety guidelines.
• Clean resident rooms, common areas, hallways, furnishings and equipment.
• Restock supplies and support inventory management.
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures to maintain a clean environment.
• Assist with Environmental Services projects and facility upkeep.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• 18 years of age or older (required)
• Previous experience in floor care including stripping and finishing floors (required)
• Previous experience in a healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or commercial facility setting is preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
