Job summary

Turfway Park Racing & Gaming, part of Churchill Downs Incorporated, seeks a Floor Tech to maintain clean, safe spaces across the facility in Northern Kentucky. You will operate floor cleaning machines and support general upkeep of public and non-public areas.

Requirements include a GED or HS diploma and the ability to obtain a Kentucky Racing license. This role offers steady hours and a team-focused environment within Turfway Park.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sweep, mop, buff, vacuum, dust and wax floors
• Able to operate all types of cleaning equipments including riding equipments such as extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers and overhead lifts
• Be familiar with and ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals.
• Operates electric-powered equipment designed to perform certain duties.
• Cleans and sanitizes chairs, hand rails, doors, tables and games throughout the facility.
• Collects and removes trash throughout interior and exterior public and non-public areas.
• Notifies management concerning need for repairs or deep cleaning.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• GED or High School diploma or up to 1 month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to obtain Kentucky Racing license.
