Job summary

Briarwood Health Center by Harborview is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to maintain clean carpeted and hardwood floors, and contribute to a hygienic resident environment.

You will scrub, polish and wax floors, perform routine and deep cleaning of rooms and common areas, and report safety concerns. Prior housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred; benefits include 401(k), DailyPay, health, dental and vision insurance, PTO, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality setting a plus)
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and procedures is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning carpeted and hardwood flooring
• Scrubbing polishing and waxing floors of all types
• Perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility hallways to maintain a hygienic, presentable, and comfortable environment
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces according to cleaning schedules and protocols
• Replenish supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning products in designated areas
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens appropriately and according to infection control procedures
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department
• Duties as assigned
