Job summary

Harborview Health Systems in Tucker, GA is seeking a Floor Technician to join our care-based team. The role focuses on cleaning carpeted and hardwood floors, scrubbing, polishing, and maintaining hygienic resident spaces and common areas.

The ideal candidate has housekeeping or custodial experience; healthcare or hospitality exposure is a plus. Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and procedures is a bonus. We offer top pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Clean carpeted and hardwood flooring
• Scrub, polish, and wax floors of all types
• Perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and hallways to maintain a hygienic environment
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces as per schedules
• Replenish supplies in designated areas
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens per infection control procedures
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department
• Duties as assigned

What You Will Do

• Responsible for cleaning carpeted and hardwood flooring
• Scrubbing polishing and waxing floors of all types
• Perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility hallways to maintain a hygienic, presentable, and comfortable environment
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces according to cleaning schedules and protocols
• Replenish supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning products in designated areas
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens appropriately and according to infection control procedures
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department
• Duties as assigned
