Job summary

Southern Cleaning Services is seeking a motivated Floor Tech to maintain diverse floor surfaces and uphold safety and cleanliness standards across our facilities.

You will operate buffers, polishers, and vacuums, performing sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and polishing tasks while ensuring floors remain in optimal condition and compliant with guidelines.

Qualifications

• Background check required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Floor Tech or similar role.
• Knowledge of different floor types and the appropriate cleaning and maintenance methods.
• Familiarity with floor care equipment, including buffers, polishers, and vacuums.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain various floor surfaces, including carpets, tiles, hardwood, and laminate.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors on a regular basis.
• Stripping, waxing, and polishing floors using appropriate products and equipment.
• Removing stains, spills, and debris from floors.
• Inspecting and reporting any damages or repairs needed for floors.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and sanitary guidelines.
• Keeping inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Assisting with other cleaning tasks as needed.
