Job summary

Avante at Ocala Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Floor Tech to perform day-to-day maintenance duties, ensuring the facility is clean, safe and comfortable in line with federal, state, and local standards. This is a full-time morning shift.

The role requires at least a high school education, 18+ years old, English speaking, and a positive attitude toward the elderly; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of high school education or equivalency or ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department to keep the facility clean, safe and comfortable.
• Follow directives from the Director of Facility Services or the Administrator.
• Support maintenance operations during the morning shift if needed.
