Job summary

The Avante Group’s Avante at Mt. Dora Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Housekeeper to carry out daily housekeeping tasks and help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. The role is full-time, 7:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m., with every other weekendIncluded in the schedule as needed. Candidates should be at least 18, speak English, and have a positive attitude toward the elderly.

Qualifications

• Must be a High School Graduate.
• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department under supervision to keep the facility clean, safe and comfortable.
• Follow current federal, state and local standards and the Supervisor’s/Administrator’s directions to maintain cleanliness and order throughout the facility.

Avante at Mt. Dora Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Housekeeper to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards as may be directed by the Housekeeping/Laundry Services Supervisor and/or the Administrator to ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner.

Full-Time- 7a-4p includes e/o weekend

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Education and Experience:

• Must be a High School Graduate.
• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.
