Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a dependable Custodian responsible for floor cleaning, restroom sanitation, trash disposal, and general custodial duties in a commercial setting. The role requires operating buffers, scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and following safety protocols.

The weekend shift (Sat-Sun, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) emphasizes timely task completion, attention to detail, and strong teamwork to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of different flooring types and cleaning methods.
• Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Meticulousness and ability to follow instructions for floor maintenance.
• Strong time management to complete tasks within schedules.
• Stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor cleaning and maintenance tasks in commercial settings.
• Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment (buffers, scrubbers, carpet cleaners).
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt and stains.
• Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors as needed.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a clean, hazard-free environment.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Assist with other custodial duties as assigned.

• Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners

• Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors using appropriate cleaning products and techniques
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
• Assist with other custodial duties as assigned
