Job summary

Cypress Skilled Nursing is seeking floor care technicians to maintain clean, safe hard surfaces and carpets throughout patient rooms, corridors, lobbies and dining areas. You will dust, mop, strip, wax, buff and shampoo floors while following company policies and OSHA guidelines.

Strong English communication is essential, as is the ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions. No formal education is required, but a high-school diploma is desirable, and you must complete all

Responsibilities

  • Carry out floor care duties for hard surfaces and carpet (dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting).
  • Maintain floors in offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells and dining areas.
  • Adhere to company policies, federal/state laws, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Attend all company-designated training as required by manager.

Job description

Floor care technicians are generally responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells and other public areas such as dining rooms.

Perform work duties in accordance with company policies, federal and state laws, local standards and guidelines, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.

Attend all company-designated training as required by manager.

Education & Experience
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English is essential.
