Job summary

Cypress Skilled Nursing is seeking a floor care technician to maintain floors across patient rooms, corridors, and common areas in a healthcare setting. You will perform dusting and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting of hard surfaces and carpet as required.

Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak English; a high school diploma is desirable, and the role requires adherence to policies and safety regulations.

Floor care technicians are generally responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies,

entrances, stairwells and other public areas such as dining rooms. Perform work duties in accordance with company policies, federal and state laws, local

standards and guidelines, OSHA, and other applicable regulations. Attend all company-designated training as required by manager
