Job summary

Total Maintenance Management is seeking a reliable janitorial worker to maintain various floor types and uphold our standards of cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation.

Responsibilities include moving furniture, disposing of trash, operating cleaning equipment with proper PPE, measuring and dispensing chemicals, and performing preventative maintenance checks. Ability to read simple instructions and communicate in English is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial work and floor care is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all floor types and surfaces to company standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Moves furniture before and after cleaning.
• Disposes of trash and assists with trash collection.
• Operates cleaning equipment with proper PPE and safety measures.
• Measures, labels, dispenses and maintains chemicals.
• Performs routine maintenance checks on equipment.
• Reports maintenance issues to supervisor or manager.
