Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional retail or leadership training is a plus.
• Experience in retail, hardware, lumber, or customer-facing roles; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including POS systems and standard software.
• Strong verbal communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned departments or areas of the sales floor to ensure tasks meet company policies.
• Lead by example with exceptional customer service and uphold service standards.
• Provide day-to-day direction, task delegation, breaks, and workflow coordination.
• Assist with training and onboarding, plus coaching on safety and customer service.
• Oversee merchandising, stocking, pricing, signage, and product presentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs and discrepancies.
• Promote safety policies through observations and safe-work practices.
• Resolve customer questions and escalate issues when needed.
• Support sales initiatives, promotions, and timely execution on the floor.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, equipment, and overall store appearance.
