Job summary

Walmart Lebanon, TN is seeking a Logistics Area Manager to lead operations and drive continuous improvements across the distribution network. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while aligning with company policies and key performance indicators.

You will mentor and coach leaders, manage staffing plans, and analyze performance data to balance short- and long-term goals. A strong customer- and associate-focused mindset is essential to succeed here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field and 1+ years' experience in an operations/distribution/logistics environment, supervising and developing managers/supervisors.
• Experience participating in hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments/areas.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers, and associates.
• Drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (production, quality, safety) and implement operational improvements.
• Forecast staffing workload and performance results to meet business demands.
• Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements.
• Monitor and ensure area compliance with logistics, quality, and safety standards and directives.
• Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns with available judgment and input from others.
• Supervise and manage associates and leaders by directing, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
