Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced Operations Manager in Lancaster, TX to drive area goals in logistics, supervise leaders, and implement improvements across production quality and safety. You will forecast staffing and analyze performance data to meet demands, while ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.

You will lead a team of associates, partner with hiring and development processes, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field.
• 1+ years' experience in operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors.
• Experience in hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments/areas or equivalent Walmart experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing to meet area goals and implement operational improvements.
• Forecast staffing workload and performance results to meet business demands of the area.
• Prepare, review and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements in quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with Logistics and company policies, procedures and safety standards; develop and maintain supporting documentation.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders by giving direction, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
