Job Opening: Floor Manager at TAI ER Sichuan Cuisine

Join us at TAI ER Sichuan Cuisine, an international restaurant celebrated for its authentic Sichuan flavors. Since 2015, we have expanded to over 650 locations worldwide, blending traditional cuisine with a modern dining experience. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Floor Manager to oversee the opening and daily operations of our first San Francisco location.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the pre-opening setup, including team recruitment, training, and process planning
  • Supervise the front-of-house team during service to ensure excellent guest experiences
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming dining environment
  • Address guest concerns professionally and empathetically
  • Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams for smooth service
  • Develop SOPs for seating, guest flow, and shift transitions
  • Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and performance feedback
  • Promote a team culture of accountability and guest-first service
Requirements
  • At least 1–2 years of floor management or shift lead experience in a busy restaurant setting
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with new store openings or rapid expansion environments
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems promptly
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin language skills are highly preferred
  • Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Position: Full-time, Mid-Senior level

Compensation: $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr, with actual pay based on skills and experience
