Apex Talent Group LLC is seeking a hands-on Floor Manager to lead daily floor operations in our upscale dining environment in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. This role demands strong leadership, urgency, and a commitment to an exceptional guest experience.

The Floor Manager will supervise front‑of‑house teams, manage reservations and seating flow, ensure service standards, and support hiring and training in partnership with the General Manager. Nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Upscale serving and/or bartending experience required.
• Proficient in Tock and Toast POS.
• ServSafe certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active floor presence during all shifts.
• Ensure guest experience through real-time service recovery.
• Manage reservations and seating flow using Tock.
• Oversee POS accuracy and reporting using Toast.
• Monitor pacing, table turns, and section balance.
• Ensure all food and cocktails meet quality standards.
• Supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and runners.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and nightly goals.
• Enforce policies, service standards, and uniforms.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and labor control.
• Support hiring and training with the General Manager.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
• Support high-volume weekends, events, and seasonal business.

The Floor Manager oversees all front‑of‑house floor activity, ensuring smooth service flow, strong team performance, and consistent execution of food, beverage, and hospitality standards. This is a highly visible leadership position that demands urgency, organization, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservations and seating flow using Tock
• Oversee POS accuracy and reporting using Toast
• Monitor pacing, table turns, and section balance
• Ensure all food and cocktails are presented correctly and meet quality standards
• Supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, food runners, and kitchen support staff
• Lead pre‑shift meetings and communicate nightly goals
• Enforce company policies, service standards, and uniform compliance
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and labor control
• Support hiring and training in partnership with the General Manager
