Job summary

TOWER23 Hotel is seeking a Part Time Floor Maintenance Technician to support the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our hotel and restaurant operations.

You will perform routine cleaning, maintenance, floor care, carpet maintenance, and respond to maintenance requests while upholding safety standards. This role requires nights, weekends, and holidays availability and offers $22.00 per hour with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience in floor maintenance, hotel setting preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and communicate clearly.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well maintained hotel environment for guests and team members.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and deep cleans in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
• Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests with professionalism and follow-through.
• Perform hard floor and surface care, including stripping wax, top scrubbing, sealing, and applying finishes.
• Perform carpet maintenance including vacuuming, shampooing, extracting, and steam cleaning carpets and upholstery.
• Operate various heavy industrial floor care equipment.
• Maintain logs, complete checklists, and report unusual findings to leadership.
• Ensure minimal equipment downtime by keeping key parts stocked and ready.
• Assist during emergencies including power outages, floods, or weather-related events.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Uphold company standards for appearance, performance, and guest service.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

We’re currently seeking a Part Time Floor Maintenance Technician to support the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our hotel and restaurant operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well maintained hotel environment for guests and team members

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Proven floor maintenance skills; prior hotel floor maintenance tech experience preferred
• Skills: Strong troubleshooting ability, organizational skills, and clear communication
• Professionalism: Positive attitude, customer service‑focused, dependable
• Physical Ability: Able to lift and carry up to to 50 lbs, push/pull carts, stand/walk throughout shift
• Flexibility: Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Extras: Pool/spa maintenance experience a plus; additional language skills are a plus to communicate with international guests
