Job summary

Tower23 Hotel in San Diego is hiring a Full Time Housekeeping Manager to lead our on-site team and uphold boutique-quality cleanliness for a luxury beachfront experience.

You will inspect guest rooms and public areas, train staff, manage weekly schedules, oversee inventory, and participate in leadership meetings to align operations. English fluency is required; bilingual Spanish is preferred.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, organize, and support the housekeeping team to deliver an exceptional level of guest satisfaction.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure the team consistently meets the hotel’s cleanliness standards.
• Train and develop housekeeping team members on proper protocols, procedures, and service standards.
• Develop and maintain the weekly housekeeping schedule to align staffing with operational needs and priorities.
• Maintain the security of keys, carts, and supplies.
• Ensure all operational, safety, and housekeeping standards are consistently followed.
• Participate in hotel operations meetings to collaborate with leadership and address cross-departmental needs.
• Conduct weekly inventory counts and place orders as needed to maintain adequate supplies.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive deep-cleaning schedule for guest rooms and public areas.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager and Director of Operations.

• Experience: Previous housekeeping or hospitality leadership experience required
• Personality: Positive, professional, dependable, and guest-focused
• Physical Ability: Able to bend, lift, push carts, and be on your feet for extended periods
• Attention to Detail: High standards for cleanliness, efficiency, and safety
• Flexibility: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
