Job summary

Elmet Technologies is seeking a Production Supervisor on 1st Shift in Euclid, Ohio. You will lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coaching a team of frontline workers.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of manufacturing experience and 1–3 years of supervisory leadership, with knowledge of KPIs and continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or frontline leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
• Experience using production KPIs and performance metrics to manage results.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, or another regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and frontline production employees, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to production and quality requirements.
• Manage shift staffing, work assignments, priorities, and workflow.
• Monitor production performance and address gaps or obstacles in real time.
• Ensure employees follow SOPs and quality requirements; reinforce safe work practices and OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime; collaborate with Planning to align schedules and capacity.
• Coach, mentor, and develop production employees; provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct reviews.
