Job summary

Elmet Technologies, Inc. in Euclid, Ohio, is seeking a Production Supervisor - Rolling, 1st Shift. You will lead the daily manufacturing operations and frontline production employees, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

You will coordinate workflow, develop the team, solve floor issues, and partner with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to keep safety, delivery, and productivity on track.

What You Will Do

You will lead daily manufacturing operations and frontline production employees, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to production and quality requirements.

Your work will include:

• Lead and supervise daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals
• Manage shift staffing, work assignments, priorities, and workflow
• Monitor production performance and address gaps or obstacles in real time
• Ensure employees follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements
• Reinforce safe work practices and compliance with OSHA requirements and company policies
• Partner with Maintenance to resolve equipment issues and minimize production downtime
• Collaborate with Planning to align production schedules, staffing, and available capacity
• Coordinate with Quality and Engineering to address production and process issues
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance
• Coach, mentor, and develop production employees
• Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct performance reviews
• Address employee concerns and workplace issues appropriately and consistently
• Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives
• Communicate production priorities, performance, and issues across shifts and departments
