Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Key Holder to join our store leadership team. You will supervise partners, open/close the store, handle daily operations, and model excellent customer service on the sales floor.

You will train new partners, uphold merchandising standards, manage cash handling, and maintain a clean, organized store environment while ensuring a safe experience for pets and customers. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience required; key holder or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities and cash-handling accuracy are required.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and serve as point of contact when management is not present.
• Supervise partners, support store operations, and maintain customer service excellence.
• Assist with training new partners and uphold merchandising, pricing and signage standards.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-presented store environment and inventory accuracy.
