Job summary

Opensity Solutions is seeking a Floor Host to create a welcoming, high-quality environment for guests, employees and visitors. The role reports to the Lead Floor Host or Client Relations Manager and supports daily operations, guest engagement, and service standards across the workplace.

The Floor Host at Opensity Solutions is a client-facing hospitality and workplace experience professional responsible for creating a welcoming, high-quality environment for guests, employees, and visitors. This role serves as the front-line representative of the workplace experience, ensuring exceptional service delivery, smooth floor operations, and a positive guest experience. The Floor Host supports daily operations, assists with guest engagement, and helps maintain service standards across assigned areas. This position is classified as non-exempt and reports to the Lead Floor Host or Client Relations Manager.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Welcome and greet guests, employees, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Engage with guests to understand needs and provide personalized assistance and recommendations.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource regarding workplace services, amenities, menus, events, and building offerings.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and service requests with professionalism and empathy.
  • Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and delivering proactive service.
  • Manage floor operations, including seating coordination, reservations, and walk-in flow where applicable.
  • Collaborate with service teams (kitchen, facilities, workplace services) to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation of guest and common areas.
  • Monitor workplace areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are consistently met.
  • Assist in coordinating special events, meetings, and guest experiences.
  • Support conflict resolution by addressing guest concerns calmly and escalating when necessary.
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Collect and document guest feedback to support service improvement initiatives.
  • Support reporting of guest interactions, service trends, and operational observations.
  • Participate in training programs to continuously improve service delivery and workplace experience quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience: 2–3 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, workplace services, reception, or related guest-facing roles preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with scheduling, reservation, or workplace service systems is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs. Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time
