Job summary

The Sizemore Group is seeking a Floor Care Technician to manage hard surface and carpet maintenance, including stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, and extraction. The role supports the Building Maintenance team, aligning with Sizemore's values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork.

Responsibilities include safe operation of floor care equipment, routine cleaning tasks, timely reporting of time worked and safety issues, and mentoring newer technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to engage in respectful communications with coworkers, customers and store personnel.
• Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve superior results.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care on hard surfaces and carpet including mopping, buffing, and shampooing.
• Operate floor care machines safely following manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and general areas.
• Report safety incidents and time worked accurately.
• Assist and guide less-experienced technicians as needed.
