Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. in Canal Winchester, OH, is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain hard floors and carpet, including stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing and extraction. Work is performed under limited supervision within a collaborative maintenance team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Ability to communicate respectfully with coworkers, customers and store personnel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Handles hard floor care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), scrubbing, and buffing on hard surfaces.
Provides carpet maintenance, including vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets.
Provides other cleaning services, such as dusting, routine restroom and other area cleaning.
Operates floor care machines and cleaning products safely and in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
Follows safety requirements and procedures at all times.
Reports to work as scheduled and on time, and accurately reports time worked through the phone timekeeping systems.
