Job summary

The Floor Care Technician at Sizemore, Inc. will oversee floor maintenance for hard surfaces and carpet, performing stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction and bonneting.

You will work onsite at various locations, supporting core values of flexibility, improvement, reliability, safety and teamwork. Responsibilities include routine floor care tasks, carpet upkeep, safety compliance, and timely communication with supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Some cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple instructions.
• Ability to engage in respectful communications with coworkers, customers and store personnel.

Responsibilities

• Handles hard floor care including mopping, scrubbing and buffing.
• Provides carpet maintenance including vacuuming, shampooing and bonneting.
• Performs general cleaning like dusting and restroom cleaning.
• Operates floor care machines safely per manufacturer instructions.
• Follows all safety requirements and procedures at all times.
• Reports to work as scheduled and tracks time accurately.
• Keeps equipment in working order and informs supervisor of issues.
• Provides guidance to less-experienced technicians as needed.
• Drives a culture of improvement and efficiency in service.
