Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC (KBS) has immediate full-time, permanent openings for Floor Techs to join our team. This role involves floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, bonnet cleaning, carpet care, and safety reporting, in a fast-paced environment. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Starting pay is $14.00 per hour. Benefits and timekeeping via KBSPresence are part of the program. It is a non-discriminatory workplace committed to safety and respect.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals in English (Spanish may be used where required).
• Regular bending, lifting, and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout, etc.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects, following safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Keep janitor closet neat, clean, and organized.
• Follow manufacturer's specifications for preparing chemicals and using equipment.
• Report to Supervisor needed repairs or safety hazards.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
