Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Warehouse Floor Technician to support floor care across designated areas. Starting pay is $16.90 per hour, with shifts that vary including nights and weekends.

The technician will perform carpet and hard floor maintenance, follow safety protocols, and report hazards to supervision while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. The role emphasizes reliable attendance, use of janitorial tools, and adherence to KBSPresence for timekeeping.

Qualifications

• One year of prior floor care experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform bending, reaching, and climbing.
• Must read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions (English).

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout, etc.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture safely and report repairs or hazards to supervision.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies; use KBSPresence for timekeeping.
